One listing will be the names of generic medications or medications that are used “off label”. “Off label” means that it is not FDA approved for this disease state, but may be prescribed for you to treat the disease.
There will also be a gallery of images with a link to learn more. These are the name brand drugs that have been FDA approved specifically for your disease state. You will be taken to the medication website, which has been approved by the FDA. On the site you will find information about the medication, it’s use, side effects, mechanism of treatment as well as resources for support, copay and financial assistance when available. You can rest assured that all of the information on the sites in the gallery has been reviewed by the FDA and is accurate.
